Thank You Sundresses

Classroom Volunteer Gifts

I am a kindergarten teacher who is blessed to work in a school that I love. The families are involved in their children's education and many of them volunteer countless hours at the school in various capacities. I have been so fortunate to have had wonderful volunteers in my classroom over the years. Many of these lovely ladies have become my friends. How lucky is that?! A couple of years ago I wondered what I could do to say a proper 'thank you' at the end of the school year. I came up with a gift from the heart: sewing. I made sundresses for their daughters and I have recently started making coloring totes for their sons. Here are a few of the dresses I've made. More are posted under the title Sundresses under Past Creations (look on the right hand side for the clickable section). These were fun to do and each was made with love!

Backless Halter Style

This backless halter style is hard to check out without a model but it is gathered with elastic in the back at the waistline.
